Hi, I’m Lexi, a New York-based graphic designer exploring the intersections of advocacy, education, and design.

I’m a graphic designer exploring the intersections of advocacy, education, and design. I create printed objects, brand campaigns, and systems primarily based on social issues.

Emerging academic research or histories inform my process and idea development. Some of my projects and writing explore my familiarity with disability and comment on healthcare and ableism. Other projects explore social issues, ideas, and curiosities I wish to learn more about + bring to life.

I enjoy mixing the physical with digital design tools, risograph printing and stop motion animation. A key outcome is to create educational spaces with digestible displays of information and action points.

In each project, I believe there are several opportunities to use design as a tool for social advocacy and change. The politics of typefaces, the importance of color ratios, and flexible formatting are carefully considered in my work to reaffirm inclusive values and experiences.

Current explorations include: exploring accessible design practices and thinking, writing and reading about disability studies, engaging in local mutual aid efforts, and further exploring my Japanese language skills.
